Long-standing popularity: Young adults invest in language training
More than two thirds of language travellers are 17 to 27 years old. However, language study abroad travel is possible starting at age 7, and customers over 30 are also on the rise with special courses. Language travel offers younger participants a safe environment where they can quickly make friends and enjoy being on their own.
Thirty is the new twenty
The course demand is constantly growing for those over 30, as well as for business courses for professionals and companies. Along with this demographic, the reason for this is the globalisation of the working world. Therefore, Swiss language trip organisers are offering more and more tailor-made programmes for these target groups.
Even among Swiss over 50, language study abroad trips are a growing trend. Packages are popular for this age group, where adventure and gourmet holidays can be combined with a language course.
